The Fellowes 485Ci cross-cut shredder is ideal for offices where high-volume data destruction is of importance. It sports a generous 16" feed opening, which is ideal for different paper sizes. The 485Ci comes with a 100% jam-proof mechanism resulting in uninterrupted operation. This cross-cut shredder boasts level 3 security thereby making it very difficult to reconstruct destroyed information. Fellowes Shredder's patented Auto-Oil™ technology keeps the unit lubricated without any manual intervention and enhances performance. More importantly, the Auto-Oil™ technology results in hassle-free maintenance and extends the life of this cross-cut shredder.

The Fellowes 485Ci comes with the patented SafeSense® technology that prevents human injuries. This mechanism instantly stops the shredder when it senses human contact close to the feed opening. An intelligent Energy Management System allows the unit to consume up to 70% less energy than other commercial shredders in the same category. The Fellowes 485Ci can shred up to 28 sheets per pass and converts paper into extremely small 5/32" x 1-1/8" cross-cut particles.

This cross-cut shredder comes with a voluminous 35 gallon waste bin which is great for collecting excess waste. The Fellowes 485Ci can easily shred paper, optical media (CDs/DVDs/Blu-rays), credit cards, staples and paper clips owing to its sturdy cutting blades.
